Were you lucky in my book giveaway?

Hello,

Yesterday, my second domestic thriller, Should Have Known Better, was five weeks old, and I thought it would be fun to share some of the book launch stats with you.

In the last five weeks more than 1,500 copies have been sold, and more than one million pages of the book have been read by people in Kindle Unlimited.

Which adds up to an equivalent of more than 4,000 books read.

Which is pretty cool!

The book's highest chart position in the UK Kindle store so far has been number 234, and it's reached number 804 in the US Kindle store.

In the UK the book has 20 reviews and ratings, with an average 4.9 out of 5 stars.

In the US there are 12 reviews and ratings with an average of 4.3 out of 5.

And as of today the book has 127 4 and 5 star ratings on Goodreads.

It's been my most successful launch to date, and all I can say is a massive THANK YOU to everyone who has bought, borrowed, reviewed or told their friends about the book. I really appreciate it!

My giveaway to win a signed copy of Should Have Known Better was won by Janey Churchill who lives in Somerset in the UK.

Brenda Johnson in the US was the first out of the hat to win an ebook.

Well done ladies, and thanks to everyone who took part!

You may know that my husband Adrian also writes psychological thrillers and he released his second, His Wife's Sister, in May.

Since then there's been a bit of (mostly friendly) rivalry between the two of us to see whose book fares better.

He's usually in the lead, but every now and again my lovely readers ensure I slip ahead of him in the charts!

Adrian's first psych thriller, Between the Lies, is completely FREE to download today. But be quick - it'll be back to full price in the morning!

I know I'm biased, but it's a great read if you enjoy dark, twisty thrillers.

In other news, we celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary on Wednesday with a bottle of bubbly. It was the perfect excuse to dig out the old wedding photos.

So here we are, then and now...

That's all from me for now. Thanks again for being such fantastic readers. I feel very lucky to have you joining me on my writing adventures!

Happy reading!

Amanda
