Hello!
Before I tell you who won my signed book giveaway, I just wanted to let you know that my third domestic thriller, No One I Knew, is just 99p/99c until Friday, 7 June. You can check it out here.
No One I Knew tells the story of busy working mum Cleo, whose three-year-old daughter vanishes during a family barbecue.
Everyone thinks Immy drowned in the river at the bottom of the garden.
Everyone except Cleo. Because all her instincts tell her someone took her daughter. Someone she knew.
With time running out, Cleo sets out to uncover the truth. But the deeper she probes, the more she realises everyone has a secret to hide. Especially her husband.
And as Cleo unpicks the lies, she discovers her carefully constructed life was just an illusion.
I set the book in my home county of Kent. I needed a location where gardens backed onto a river, and the kind of desirable period homes that Cleo would choose to live.
After considering a couple of different places I settled on Fordwich, the UK's smallest town, just outside the cathedral city of Canterbury and only about a forty-minute drive from where we live.
Being able to picture the setting was a huge help when it came to writing the book because it enabled me to concentrate on the characters and plot.
I'm very proud of the fact that No One I Knew now has more than 6,300 ratings on Amazon with an average 4.5 stars in the UK and 4.4 stars in the US. How cool is that?!

And so to the winner of my giveaway. I'm delighted to report that Yvette Lasham's name was the first out of the hat and wins herself a signed copy of my latest thriller, The Husband Before You.
Congratulations, Yvette, and thank you to everyone for entering. If you weren't lucky this time, don't worry. I have lots more giveaways planned!
In the meantime, if you want a completely free read from me, I've got you covered.
The Anniversary Trip is a twisty little tale set on the White Cliffs of Dover.
