I'm back today to let you know that my latest domestic thriller, The Holiday Swap, is officially available to pre-order.

The last couple of weeks have been a whirlwind of final proofreads, tiny last-minute tweaks, uploading files, checking everything umpteen times and starting to spread the word about the book.

Away from writing, I had an excuse to leave my office last weekend when Adrian's mum Barbara came to stay.

We squeezed quite a lot into a few days, including a wander around Reculver's dramatic Roman fort, a visit to the beautiful medieval moated manor house at Ightham Mote and a trip to Canterbury.

But I was back at my desk on Tuesday working on my launch plans for The Holiday Swap. Keeps me out of mischief!

I still have some final checks to do, the launch plans to set in motion and, hopefully, lots more lovely early reader reviews to come. But the hard work's done. Now is the exciting bit - sending a new book into the world.

I can't wait for you to meet Jen, Robin and Scott.
