The Greek Island is officially OUT NOW!
The Greek Island is my brand-new sun-soaked thriller about secrets, lies, simmering tensions and one VERY dysfunctional friendship group holidaying together on a tiny Greek island in the middle of the Ionian Sea.
And, judging by the early reviews, lots of readers are having exactly the kind of fun with it that I hoped they would.
As well as being called the perfect beach read, reviewers have variously described it as ‘gripping’, ‘claustrophobic’, ‘atmospheric’, ‘suspenseful’, ‘fast-paced’ and ‘full of intrigue’.

I’ve always loved the idea of writing a summer thriller and, as setting always plays an important role in my books, I spent a long time thinking about where this story should take place.
I wanted a remote island, far from the mainland, that would intensify my protagonist Amber’s sense of isolation as she tries to fit in with her posh new boyfriend, Dominic, and his friends. Greece – one of my favourite places in the world – felt like the obvious choice.
While the claustrophobic setting and opulent surroundings are integral to the plot, The Greek Island is less of a locked-room mystery and more a story of class and power.
Like so many of us, Amber has always felt like an outsider. Wrong school. Wrong clothes. Wrong accent. She believes that being accepted into Dominic’s privileged circle will give her the sense of belonging she’s always craved.
But life, as we know, is rarely that simple – especially when the body count starts to go up!
I hope you’ll agree it’s the perfect summer thriller: addictive, escapist, tense and just plain FUN.
