Life update: In which The Invite is out and you can win a signed copy!
I am thrilled to announce that my new book, The Invite, is out today!
Everyone who pre-ordered the book will see it drop into their Kindle this morning, as if by magic!
For any of you who didn't pre-order your copy, but are keen to take advantage of the special launch price of just 99p/99c, you can check the book out here.
Release Day is always a nail-biting moment. You've spent six months immersed in your story. Dreaming, plotting, creating characters and landing them in all sorts of hot water.
You've been through every paragraph, every sentence, every word, over and over, to the point where you could probably recite the whole damn book by rote. And suddenly it's not just yours any more. It's out there in the big wide world.
Luckily the pre-release feedback has been amazing, which makes today slightly less anxiety-inducing!
To celebrate the book's publication, I'm offering three of you the chance to win a signed paperback copy of The Invite. All you have to do to be in with a chance of winning, is to head over to my Facebook page, like the page and comment on and share the competition post, which will be pinned to the top of the page. LIKE, COMMENT and SHARE. That's it! I'll pick three winners at random next month. So good luck!
I'd like to wish my fellow psych thriller author Miranda Rijks a Happy Publication Day for her latest release, The Concierge.
This heart-pounding thriller follows high-flying duo Goldie and Braun Delucci and their dysfunctional family. The Deluccis hire an assistant to help them, little realising their new assistant has other plans....
Miranda is the best-selling author of The Visitors, The Arrangement, and The New Neighbour, and her latest thriller is another twisty, gripping read, full of tension and suspense.
You can check The Concierge out here.
And another author friend, Sarah A. Denzil, has her latest thriller on sale at the moment at 99p/99c.
Find Her tells the story of three winter weddings at an isolated venue. There are three dead bodies, three missing brides... and one of them is a killer.
This chilling thriller is at the top of my To Be Read pile at the moment, and having devoured some of Sarah's other books, I know I'm in for a treat. You can check it out here.
Before I go and eat my bodyweight in mince pies to celebrate publication day, I just wanted to remind you that if you're in the US or Canada and are on Goodreads, you can enter a giveaway for an ebook copy of The Invite.
Simply head over to Goodreads, find my book on the Giveaway page and enter. The giveaway ends on Friday 30 December.
All that remains is for me to thank you all for your support over the past year. I appreciate every single thing you do, from your reviews and shares to your messages and emails.
Your positivity and encouragement mean the world to me. I wouldn't be publishing my fifth thriller without you all, that's for sure!
Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, and I'll see you in 2023. Let's hope it's a good 'un, full of happiness, health and - of course - brilliant books.
